Not out of the box, no. But most of our vinyl materials become waterproof when you add a UV laminate at checkout. The laminate is a clear protective layer that goes over your print and blocks moisture, UV rays, and general wear.
If your stickers are going outdoors, on a vehicle, or anywhere they’ll see water, you’ll want to add laminate.
Which materials can be made waterproof?
Permanent Vinyl Decals
Select Gloss, Luster, or Matte UV laminate at checkout. With laminate, these handle rain, snow, car washes, and UV exposure without issue. Most customers going outdoor choose this material.
Removable Genius Vinyl
Same laminate options as permanent. Adding laminate makes them waterproof but doesn’t affect the removable, repositionable properties — they still peel off clean.
Clear Vinyl Decals
Available with Gloss or Matte laminate. Keeps the transparent look while protecting against moisture and daily wear.
StickleMe (Reusable Stickers)
StickleMe works a little differently. Choose the Outdoor Protection option at checkout instead of a standard laminate. That makes your restickable stickers waterproof without losing the peel-and-restick ability.
What about without laminate?
Without laminate, our vinyl is still durable indoors but isn’t waterproof. Prolonged water contact can affect the ink. Paper roll labels are indoor only regardless. Not sure what you need?
