To prevent cutting off important text or design elements from your graphics. We recommend not having important design elements too close to the edge of your print. It’s recommended to allow .125-.25″ of safety area from your important designs and where the sticker will actually be cut.
This also applies to borders and strokes that are on the edges of the cut path. If the area is too thin sometimes it can cut off portions of your design and/or make thickness seem to not look equal on all sides.
