Designing & Ordering
When setting up files for exact custom cut vinyl stickers please see our File Requirements Page because there are a couple of special guidelines to follow for our transfer stickers. First, files that are submitted for Exact Cut Transfer Decals must be in vector format. Which means everything must be converted to outlines. Also, all vectors must be at least .09″ thick and must also have .09″ of spacing between any other vectors. If the requirements cannot be met, we can print on a clear decal with a custom shape or minimal clear outline as an alternative option. Choosing The Right Material For You
Here at Sticker Genius, we offer a few different material options for our Exact Cut Transfer Decals, which have a range of adhesive strengths. A great question to ask yourself when starting a project is are you looking for these cut vinyl decals to be removable or Permanent?
Removable Genius Vinyl
Genius Vinyl is a removable low-tack durable vinyl that works best for short to medium term applications. The material can safely and easily be removed from most surfaces without causing damage or leaving residue behind.
Permanent Decals
Long term, permanent vinyl with aggressive adhesive. Meant for a one-time application. Also utilizes air release technology for bubble free installation.
Installation & Care Tips
Your Exact Cut decals will come to you pre-masked with tape easy installation. Our custom cut vinyl stickers are printed with solvent inks that embed into the material and are UV- and weather-resistant once one of our powerful gloss or matte laminates has been applied. There are several options for the lifetime of your Exact Cut decals, but how long they last ultimately depends on the surface they are applied to and the material selected. Worried about not getting it right the first time? Removable Genius Vinyl can help with that! Our design included a complex logo shape with a very thin circle border around it, plus some text below it. The final product looks great, just like my design. It was pretty easy to apply to the window surface, just had to be nice and clean first. There is one small unnoticable bubble because the sticker is a large size and it adhered very quickly to the glass. But I am pleased with the end result and the affordable price.

Our company name changed, requiring a new logo for our glass front door. I uploaded the .EPS file and chose a removable Exact Cut vinyl transfer decal. We’ll install it ourselves, so they included (for free!) an application tool and detailed instructions. At first we were concerned about the slightly wrinkled state the decal was in, even when rolled into a shipping tube. However, the instructions spelled out that this was to be expected and will not affect the final appearance once applied to the door. That remains to be seen, but I trust them! The colors and size were perfect.
