Saving the world one restickable sticker at a time

Sticker Genius has always been passionate about getting involved with the community and donating to different types of organizations. For that reason we founded our “Donation of The Month” program. Creating this program has allowed us to work together with unique groups that we might not have been in contact with us otherwise.  For Sticker Genius’s January 2018 donation, we worked alongside the Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast to help sponsor their 5th annual Cookie Classic Race in Chesapeake, VA.

Tag a Long 10k, Trefoil 5k & Samoa Stroller 1 Mile

For the past four years, the Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast Council have combined efforts with the Cookie Classic Race Committee to help young girls throughout the Hampton Roads area. The race helps to raise funds to kick off the start of the girl scout season. It also helps to bring the community together and encourages active involvement and a healthy lifestyle. The addition of a 10k race in 2019 also gave participants who log more mileage an opportunity to use this fundraiser as a training run.

The involvement of Sticker Genius and their sponsorship donation helped to support younger women in the community participate in the organization of Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts has been a premier leadership organization for young women for over 100 years, and the Girl Scouts logo is recognized as an iconic youth organization across America. By building a strong community of friendship and love this group helps generations of young women find courage, confidence, and character. Also, involvement with the Girl Scouts has proven to provide strong work ethics and values to young women by teaching them the value of teamwork.

By donating to the 2019 Girl Scouts Cookie Classic Race Committee, Sticker Genius was able to contribute to offering this amazing experience to participates, spectators and young girls in the community. This year’s Cookie Classic was the largest race yet, with almost 450 registered participates.  Sticker Genius’s involvement in the race helped to raise over $14,500 for the Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast!  Having helped to create such an incredible turnout was such a positive experience for us as a company because Sticker Genius is always striving to encourage community experiences and provide a positive impact to our customers.
